Skullkid Cosplay 4 by Kraaku Skullkid Cosplay 4 by Kraaku
I've just attended to my first con wearing my first cosplay and I must say I was not dissapointed!
I had no idea so many awesome people would shower me in compliments and take endless pictures, I am really flattered. (!!!)

For my first cosplay I wanted to be someone I really have adored ever since the era of N64, the lost, forgotten, creepy and mad Skullkid.
Majoras Mask is THE Zelda game I like the most, with OoT following closely up behind.
The music, the athmosphere and the consept of this game really has to be the darkest and most AWESOME of all Zelda games I have ever played.
TOO MANY PEOPLE HAVE FORGOTTEN Majoras Mask (and only worship Ocarina of Time) and it just makes me really sad.

I used about three weeks making this entire cosplay (!) I would have used alot more time, but NOPE.
I started making it in the beginning of March and basically needed it to be finished for the Kitacon Invasion (28-30th of March)

Everything is made entirely by me, from head to toes.
The mask is made of paper mache and airdrying clay, sanded smooth, painted with acrylics and sprayed with a clear vanish.
Alll the clothes (including the shoes) are based of viking-methods, since that is the basic clothing-construction I am most familiar with.

I have chosen to base my cosplay out of the actuall GAME rather than use all the fanart created as reference.
Therefore my hat, gloves and tunic might differ from other existing cosplays of Skullkid.
Actually I find it pretty weird that I cant find a single other Skullkid-cosplay with the correct hat... (?)

In the future I might consider making an actual skullkid-head to wear behind the mask,  craft some sort of barkskin to wear underneath it all,
and craft a plushie-moon (or purse!!) I can carry around at future cons!
